I have lived in the Lodi/Stockton area since I was a child. I went to Davis Elementary school, Morada Middle school, then to Tokay High school, before going to Delta College and Heald Business College for my certificate in accounting. I have worked many jobs including packing sheds, fast food restaurants, Grand Auto, Cost Plus Imports, Fry Incorporated, and other jobs.

I then applied for a job at the Stockton Police Department as a Dispatcher and accepted a temporary position in 1995. After ten months as a temporary employee, I was hired on full time. I married Brian Halstead, who was a Sergeant at the police department in late 2006. We started investing in real estate together by buying duplexes and a single-family residence in San Antonio, Texas, which is my family’s hometown. We dealt with great agents and not so great agents when we invested. I always appreciated the hard work put in by the great agents.

Brian retired in 2009 and I left the Police Department in 2011. We worked different jobs after leaving the Police Department, but in 2015 we both got our real estate licenses so we could be like those great agents we worked with when we were investing. Together we formed The Halstead Team, and later hired an assistant, Lacey Cordero, to help us with the day-to-day operations. We are now a team of five agents, with Lacey running the operation.
